Farewell Announcement: Sephton Spence Honouring a Visionary Leader and a Lifelong Advocate
With deep gratitude and respect, the Afro Canadian Contractors Association (ACCA) announces the upcoming departure of Sephton Spence, one of our founding directors and Vice President. Sephton’s last day will be November 15th, 2025.
Celebrating Sephton’s Remarkable Contributions
Since ACCA’s beginning, Sephton has represented visionary leadership and dedication. His commitment to community engagement has fostered a welcoming and empowering environment for contractors, workers, and stakeholders alike. Through a natural mentorship ability, Sephton has guided countless emerging professionals, nurturing the next generation of leaders in the Canadian construction industry.
His passion for supporting BIPOC contractors has sparked meaningful initiatives and lasting partnerships, significantly advancing ACCA’s mission and strengthening our collective voice.
Sephton’s legacy is rooted in his advocacy for equity, opportunity, and growth. Under his leadership, ACCA has flourished, expanding its reach and capacity to serve the BIPOC construction community. His influence extends beyond our organization, inspiring unity, and progress across the industry.
While Sephton transitions from his Vice President role, this is not a final goodbye but a ‘see you later.’ He remains committed to championing BIPOC Canadian contractors worldwide, continuing his work as a mentor, advisor, and advocate. We look forward to supporting his ongoing efforts and celebrating his future achievements.
