ACCA, BOF and George Brown College were proud to congratulate the graduating class in the Black Youth Action Plan (BYAP) Entrepreneurship in Construction course. Run over 12 weeks the program ended with a pitch competition and graduation ceremony at George Brown Polytechnic’s Limberlost campus in Toronto.
While Ashleigh-Ann Moyo Karabo emerged as the winner, Judges and attendees all agreed that the learners pitches were all impactful and innovative demonstrating a clear understanding not just about what they had learned, but about their awareness of the market and the challenges and opportunities it offered.
On April 13, 2026 ACCA and the Turner School of Construction Management were proud to welcome the new cohort of the Construction Management Certificate Program. This 8 week course marks the 3rd time ACCA and Turner have teamed up to deliver this program.
The cohort of 29 started the course at the YZD Experience Centre with an orientation session that laid out the road ahead and introduced them to key people that will guide them to success.
Established by Turner Construction in 1969 the program was created to enhance the economic viability of underrepresented business enterprises and expand opportunities for growing construction businesses.
