The City of Toronto’s first Indigenous-led housing development is officially under construction!
Peyakotenaw at 140 Merton Street will deliver 294 units dedicated to Indigenous elders and non-Indigenous seniors.
CreateTO supported the project’s early stages, including site selection and due diligence. Our team also worked closely with the City to re-zone the property and jointly released the market offering for selecting a development partner. We were honoured to join Missanabie Cree First Nation and City staff to mark this exciting milestone.
