Toronto Pearson’s Project Ascend – Building Pathways to Success for BIPOC Contractors returns
Following the successes of Project Ascend in 2025, the estimating and bidding course sponsored by Toronto Pearson will return in September 2026. There will be two (2) concurrent streams to serve the needs of our members:
Estimating for Beginners: Introduction to Estimating and Bidding concepts.
Advanced Estimating and Bidding with simulated bid workshops for seasoned contractors who will be equipped and supported to bid on airport expansion project opportunities.

Applications Now Open: ACCA- TCBN Apprenticeship Success Program
Ready to take your apprenticeship to the next level? Ready to accelerate your crew’s apprenticeship? ACCA and TCBN are accepting applications for this FREE 16-week professional development program designed to help apprentices build the skills employers are looking for.
Starting August 2026, participants will take part in weekly workshops covering construction estimating, trade math, project management, contract administration, leadership, workplace communication, financial literacy, and the latest trends in sustainable construction and construction technology. The program will conclude with a Career Talk and employer networking event, giving participants the opportunity to connect directly with industry professionals and explore future career opportunities.
