July 2026: Whitby GO Transit-Oriented Community Proposed with Six Towers Rising to 45 Storeys

by | Blog

Infrastructure Ontario has submitted plans for a Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) on the Whitby GO station lands that would introduce six mixed-use towers ranging from 33 to 45 storeys. Designed by KIRKOR Architects and Planners, the proposal would replace the existing commuter parking lot with a high-density community featuring replacement parking beneath the development. Located in the Whitby GO Protected Major Transit Station Area, the project would introduce the tallest buildings yet proposed in the intensifying Port Whitby area.
